Most Influential Women in Technology

As a follow-on to the last blog about the lack of women in technology – Fast Company has just published their ‘Most Influential Women in Technology’ report. Started in 2009, this updated report highlights thirty women in 6 categories. The categories include ‘Entrepreneurs’, ‘Executives’, ‘Gamers’ and ‘Media.’

I have to confess although I recognise some of the names, such as the influential Marissa Mayer, VP of consumer products for Google or Mary Meeker of Kleiner Perkins, a lot of them are new to me. Yet is an interesting group and shows what can be accomplished if things can change in the man’s business world. The full article is here.
